This year we will also concentrate on Cooking with Kids – a place where you can find recipes and instructions on how to cook with your children. It has been proven that kids will eat what they cook even if they are picky eaters. It is also a great way to introduce them to the healthier way of eating. We all know that food that is grown and not packaged (processed) is best for us. Teaching our children early the benefits of great food cannot start too early.
Once our children get used to eating packaged food with all of the additives and salt, it is very hard to break that habit. Involving then in the ‘process’ of growing their own food and/or cooking their own food helps to stop the addiction to processed food.
The benefits of including your children in the growing, shopping and cooking process will be invaluable for their future habits of eating and cooking. Besides that… it is fun for all.
